Cold Water, Warm Circle
A Guided Winter Swimming Immersion
Inspired by Susanna Søeberg’s Winter Swimming
This is not a book club.
It’s a practice.
Cold Water, Warm Circle is a small-group, four-session immersion designed to help you experience the science, ritual, and nervous-system benefits of cold exposure — safely, intentionally, and in community.
We’ll use Susanna Søeberg’s groundbreaking research as a foundation, then bring it to life through sauna, cold plunge, conversation, and a culminating open-water lake immersion.
Limited to six participants.
What This Experience Is
A guided, facilitated series — not a drop-in
Grounded in science, not bravado
Designed for people curious about cold exposure but wanting structure, safety, and meaning
An opportunity to build consistency and confidence with heat and cold
A chance to do something challenging together
You do not need prior cold plunge experience.
You do need curiosity, openness, and respect for your body.
-
This experience is for you if:
You’re curious about cold exposure but want guidance
You value science and lived experience
You’re drawn to ritual, reflection, and community
You want to feel calmer, more resilient, and more embodied
You enjoy doing meaningful, slightly uncomfortable things with others
This may not be for you if:
You’re looking for extreme cold challenges
You want a casual, drop-in book discussion
You prefer solitary or unstructured experiences
-
Cold exposure alone can feel intimidating or performative.
Heat and cold, practiced intentionally and in community, becomes regulating, connective, and empowering. This is about learning how to meet stress — and step back from it — with more choice.
